Produced in 2001 as a limited edition, the Gea features a finely engraved world map inspired by 17th-century cartography, covering its sterling silver barrel and cap. The continents are highlighted with gold detailing, creating a distinctive contrast against the silver surface. Deep blue marbled resin is used for the pen's end pieces and section, adding a rich touch of colour to the otherwise precious-metal construction.
The fountain pen is fitted with an 18K 750 gold, rhodium-masked medium nib and uses a piston filling system, making it both a highly collectible writing instrument and a fully functional fountain pen.
